Khalsa Alumini ASSOCIATION

Khalsa college, Mohali the alumni cell organises the alumni meet. Each department has an alumni coordinator who will coordinate with the alumni members & convey relevant information, invite them for alumni meet, cultural fest & so on. Almost all have enrolled as the members of alumni association.

Mission

  • To promote & foster mutually beneficial interaction between the alumni and the present students of the institution and between the alumni themselves
  • To encourage, promote and facilitate education, research and other activities of the institute.

Objectives to meet the mission

  • To establish a single, secure data base of all the alumni of the institute and members of the association to help people connect with each other.
  • To encourage the alumni to take an active interest and participate in the work and progress of the institute so as to contribute to the enhancement of the social utility of their Alma matter.
  • To establish, maintain, control and manage chapters of association in India and abroad as a means to increase participation of alumni.
  • To organize and establish scholarship funds to help the needy and deserving students.
  • To institute prizes and awards for the outstanding project work, research papers or other professional activity by the student of the institute.
  • To recognize outstanding social and community service by the alumni and the students.
  • To accept grants or money, equipment, land, buildings, donations, gifts, subscriptions and other assistance with the view to promote and further the objectives of the association.

Alumni Meet

The recent meet was on "BASANT RUT " February 2016 in the college seminar hall. Alumni attended the meeting in large number. The respective HODs of various departments presented briefly about the activities in their departments. There was an interaction session wherein the alumni gave various suggestions to improve the activities of the college. The management also joined the same and was also very happy to hear from the Alumni
Apart from the above meet, Alumni Meet was organized as listed below.

  • "Sawan Rut" at College campus on 18th August 2012.
  • "Basant Rut" at College seminar hall on 12th Februrary 2012
  • College seminar hall on 1st December 2011.
  • At Khalsa College Mohali campus on June 6th 2011.

How to become members

The students who graduates from the college are considered to be the members of the alumni cell. Alumni update form can be used by the members to update their information.
