Khalsa College Charitable Society, the premier-most institute of higher learning, was established by the leaders of the Singh Sabha Movement in 1892. They were inspired by the lofty ideals of the great Gurus. The society, at present, is managing 14 colleges and 5 schools.

Khalsa College, Amritsar has a glorious history of 129 years to its credit, as it ventured into setting up the 1st institution way back in 1892.

It promotes secularism as its first three students admitted were from three different communities i.e. Sikhs, Hindus and Muslims in the first session.

The college is running under the aegis of Khalsa College Charitable Society, Amritsar, which has a glorious history of 130 years for providing qualitative and value-based education aiming at the harmonious development of the physical, mental, spiritual, and social faculties for a life of dedicated service and meet all competent challenges.

KCM Activities

Training & Placement Department has an important role to play in student’s future an indispensable pillar of the Institute. This department continuously strives to help students in pursuing their career goals by acquiring employment-seeking skills and ultimately to attain desired employment. This is accomplished through building a strong partnership amongst students, alumni, faculty members and industries.

Khalsa College follows centralized placement activity which gives each branch equal opportunity to grow for sustained excellence in career through training & placement. The regular interaction of the students with industries is organized through lectures, case studies, competitions, workshops and mock-interviews etc.

Rules & Regulations

Punctuality is of utmost importance for any good professional institution, and any student who shall be late for the classes, practicals, seminars, etc. will not be allowed to attend the same.

First Year students will wear proper uniform on all working days.

Mobile Phones must be switched off in academic area.

The admission of reappear students will be provisional.
The reappear should be clear before the declaration of second semester result with required percentage as per University norms.
